On the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, Sunday June 7, our parish family will have its first Corpus Christi Eucharistic procession from St. Theresa Parish to St. Vincent Parish! The procession will leave St. Theresa at 2:30 p.m., arriving at St. Vincent by 5 p.m. There will be rest and refreshment stations along the way. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
Here is the schedule:
- 1:45 p.m. – Shuttle buses depart St. Vincent courtyard (for those parking at St. Vincent).
- 2:30 p.m. – Procession departs St. Theresa Parish (immediately following Spanish Mass).
- 3:15 p.m. – Stop 1: Christ Lutheran Church (2501 S.W. 320th St.) for adoration & refreshments.
- 4:00 p.m. – Stop 2: Lakota Middle School (1415 S.W. 314th St.) for adoration & refreshments.
- 4:45 p.m. – Arrival at St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
- 5:00 p.m. – Mass at St. Vincent.
- 5:15 p.m. – Shuttle buses begin trips from St. Vincent to return walkers to St. Theresa.
Good to Know:
- Flexibility: Walk the whole route or join us mid-way at either stop!
- Safety First: Federal Way Police and medical personnel will accompany the procession.
- Comfort: Water will be provided at every location.
